Football fans from around the globe wait every four years to witness the greatest football tournaments of them all to see who is the world’s greatest football club. 

The World Cup is the Olympics of Football for many not only because it is hosted every four years but also, because it hosts the top football clubs in the world to participate in this year’s tournament.  Italy is going to the 2010 World Cup Championships as the defending champions from the 2006 World Cup games that were held in Germany. 

The favourites are Italy, France, Germany and Brazil.
