Tonights Champions League Semi-Final first leg match between Barcelona and Inter Milan sees Barcalona going into the match as firm favourites in this battle of the giants.
Barcelona are aiming to keep the Spanish side's ongoing journey into the Second leg and then the final of the 2010 Champions League finalalive and become the first team since AC Milan back in 1990 to retain the title for two years in a row. However after a long journey split over two days due to the air traffic chaos caused by the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland will it take its toil on the players or will they be closer as a team than ever? They've certainly had enough time to discuss team tactics in deal and it may be an interesting match beacause of this. However the team are making a point of stressing that the travelling will not affect their play on the night. Barcelona avoided defeat by Inter Milan already in this years champions league as they drew 0-0 in Italy and followed up with a 2-0 win over them at the Nou Camp. Mourinho however says that his team have drastically improved since the defeat and is going into tonights game with an air of his usual confidence. |
