“Mr. Chelsea” John Terry inks 5 year deal with Chelsea
The rumors that were speculated about John Terry being sold to Man City are officially marked as false rumors. The Englishman, who has played over 275 games and has made 17 goals in his career for Chelsea is staying with the club. The reported 5 year deal that Terry signed gives the center-back a weekly salary of £150,000 per week. Man City had offered Terry a weekly salary of £200,000 per week but failed to sign the center-back due to his commitment to Chelsea. |

In Scotland’s quest to the World Cup 2010 they’ve called some of the top football players in the world to play in the upcoming tournament. Scotland is scheduled to have two qualifier rounds in the next two weeks. On September 5, 2009 Scotland hosts Macedonia and Netherlands on September 9, 2009 in a massive double-header to capture a seed in the World Cup.

Striker Kris Boyd has recently made his statement to the football world that he would not be leaving Rangers. Statements made by Boyd assured that he would remain with the club and he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Boyd whose contract is set to expire next summer will remain with the club until a contract extension is offered. |
