Germany took on Turkey last night in Basel in their Euro 2008 semi-final clash.
The German side, not looking at their best playing a Turkish side that’s been the upstarts of Euro 2008 so far, causing a few upsets, but in the end the three-time winners Germany claimed the honours and progressed to the final stage of the tournament after closely winning the match 3-2.

Euro 2008 - Spain v Italy Spain met Italy tonight in their Euro 2008 quarter final clash. What looked lke it could be the best match of the tournament so far with their fiercely contested rivalry.
The Spanish have had a good tournament so far winning the maximum 9 points from the group section but in their last two games, they don't look as sharp as Spain have in the past. The Italians, on the other hand started the tournament slowly but have picked up steam with each match. In the end it ended up a 4-2 win for Spain in a penalty shootout. |

Euro 2008 - Holland v Russia
Holland looked lacklustre towards the end of their Euro 2008 quarter final against Russia and the scoreline, after 30 minutes of extra time reflected it as the triumphant Russia booked their first ever Euro Semi-final place. |
