There’s no team in the world that plays with more flair than Brazil. Millions of fans from across the world expect the samba boys to dazzle with their style, skill and individual brilliance.
Their opening match against North Korea started on a very sluggish note. The first half was a shocker for most fans as Brazil played a lethargic game. The media had put a lot of pressure on head coach Dunga because his strategy focused on winning matches but not on ‘futebol bonito’ or beautiful football which all Brazilians fans delight to watch. |

The Netherlands proved to be too much for Denmark as they went down 2-0. Many experts consider The Netherlands to be the dark horse of the competition and if they keep improving their game, could pose a serious threat to the rest of the teams.
The Dutchmen showed flashes of brilliance during this game and gave their fans a glimmer of hope. In the past, they have fielded brilliant teams which included the likes of Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten and Frank Rijkaard whose brilliance propelled the Dutch to victory. |
